I am impressed with how the owners are bringing this Rt 66-esque place into the 21st Century. It's kitschy and fun. Its in a great location in regard to Mammoth Cave National Park. There are a lot of places to eat nearby.

United States of Americawe liked hearing about the history of the land and the property. It was very interesting. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We loved being around the campfire with the other campers. We had a wonderful time definitely plan to return in the future.

I was concerned about being too warm or too cold in the evening, but with a ceiling fan, a/c and a portable heater provided, my concerns were unnecessary. I know with Airbnb and such this type of lodging isn't as unique as it once was, but the historical nature of it made it a lot more interesting to me.

We especially liked the big communal firepit area that allowed us time for conversation with other guests. (They provide all the wood you need.)
