Convenience and comfort combine at this cozy, one-story home, located in a community with an 18-hole, par-61 golf course about three miles from the beach. Salt Pond's many amenities are a short walk from the house, and include a community center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub (depending on the season), a fitness center, tennis, pickleball, basketball, sandlot volleyball, and more. Nearby is a launching area for small boats to access the Salt Pond and the network of canals that connect to the neighboring inlets and eventually to the ocean. Take a stroll along the tree-lined streets in the community or hike/bike/run along the nearby trails. The golf pro shop and grocery store are an easy five-minute walk and the Delaware Seashore State Park is a five-minute drive. The house is spacious throughout, with hardwood floors in common areas. The family room has vaulted ceilings and plenty of space under the fan. Relax watching cable TV or pop a movie into the DVD player on either of two TVs. If you prefer to entertain elsewhere, the three-season porch offers a pleasant seating space for lively discussions or reading under the fan.
