I love meeting people from varied backgrounds! I've always hosted people from other countries in my home, which is now a B&B renting priveate rooms. I've branched out into Short Term Rentals of fully furnished apartments since 2014. My motto is, "Your home away from home!" I intend that all you have to bring are your clothes and your personal items. Everything else is (or should be!) in the apartment. I'm very hands-on. If there are any issues, my intent is to deal with it immediately! Communication is of utmost importance.
Ardmore Blvd. (aka Rt. 30) is a major artery connecting the East End with Oakland and Downtown. Public transportation is available on Ardmore Blvd., a short two blocks from the building. It is 7.7 miles, about a 12 minute drive, to the heart of Oakland where several universities and the medical centers are located. By bus, it is a 49 minute ride. It is less than 10 miles to Downtown Pittsburgh. If no traffic, it would take 16 minutes to get to the heart of the city. A bus ride would take 54 minutes, less if it were an express bus.
