The hotel and its facilities were amazing, especially the rooftop pool and bar. The breakfast was superb and the hotel room was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Last but not least, the staff were simply amazing, always super kind and helpful :)

The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The linen was of good quality, and the bed was comfortable. The gym equipment is modern and clean. The TV has cable and room service available if you wanted. The staff are very accommodating and allowed us a very late checkout. We felt very secure here as there is a doorman and it's well lit.

Really liked the decor and the staff were also beyond nice and helped us get to the hotel dry despite the strong rain outside. The location was also really nice close to key museums and even takaahimaya. Oh the roof garden was great though I didn't regret not using the pool as it was tiny.

Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity
Offering a trip through delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theatre, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.
Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvrd. Meanwhile, Saigon Centre or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.
For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.
Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in budget accommodation at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodation deals on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!
The city has great shopping and eateries to explore.
The city has great shopping and eateries to explore. What I don't like is the way the vehicles (motor bikes, cars and others) do not follow any traffic rules, cars can turn right or left at the spur of a moment without signaling. Motorbikes can come from all sides of the roads even on the pavements. It is really scary and need to watch where you walk!

Very busy and noisy place.
Very busy and noisy place. Almost impossible to pay with card anywhere, you need to have cache. Two-three days here is more than enough to check the authentic atmosphere of the vietnamese big city and never come back

The city offers a vibrant mix of modern attractions and rich cultural history. From bustling markets and delicious local cuisine to stunning architecture and scenic parks, there's always something to explore. The public transport system is efficient, making it easy to get around, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. However, the city can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons, but its energy and charm make it a memorable destination.

Great place to start a holiday in Vietnam as it is a modern city with lots of good restaurants and hotel options. It’s easy to walk, we enjoyed the Bamboo Circus at the Saigon Opera House and an XO Foodie tour is not to be missed.

I recommend the open top bus city tour.
I recommend the open top bus city tour. Not too many sights but enough for a busy day. We missed the brewery, which I’m not happy about! The war museum was an eye opener, I didn’t really have much knowledge of the Vietnam war until my visit. Another tour worth doing is the CuChi tunnels. Again another eye opener about the war and the VietCong. The walking streets were good in the evening with plenty of eateries etc. oh, and there’s millions of mopeds!!!

Explore guest reviews of hotels in Ho Chi Minh City
The hotel was well positioned in the middle of District 1. My room had a window and a small balcony that opened onto the street. However it was a very quiet space, considering the chaos of Ho Chi Minh City. The staff were all very kind, my room was impeccably clean, and very well furnished. The air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was large And the shower also functioned well.
Hotel is near airport (around 20 mins in VN traffic). Nice business hotel lobby with good space for driver to wait. Room was clean and decent. Distance from District 1 is quite far in VN traffic. Around the hotel, nothing much in the area. For business visitor, this hotel is ok but if you are a tourist, you will probably find this district boring.
Well maintained rooms and facilities. Excellent atmosphere, relaxed and quiet. Good breakfast buffet. Adequate gym and pool. Of the four 5 star hotels we stayed in Ho Chi Minh City, Mai House easily takes the crown for overall comfort.
This hotel is exceedingly comfortable. The room whilst being small exceeded all my expectations. It’s a very short walk to Ben Thanh market. Close to other shops and facilities within district 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. Worth staying here.
The location was in an excellent area. It was central and walkable to most attractions in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
