Come stay in our cheerful and luxurious corner unit in BoKaap. The apartment is fully serviced 1-3 times per week and we have an inverter system for loadshedding. There are incredible views from every window and a wrap around balcony where you can enjoy the beauty of Cape Town with sea, mountain, and city views. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment, both boasting spectacular views from their beds and desks, making this apartment perfect for working from home and lounging around. Our apartment is filled with natural light, books, art, and views. Our floors are hand-carved Oggie wood flooring, our windows are dressed with Taylor shutters, and no expense has been spared when furnishing and decorating, all with comfort and relaxation being the ultimate goal. The kitchen is fully kitted for cooks. The dining room table is a beautiful, locally crafted river table design that comfortably seats 6. The living area is set up like a comfortable seating room, with couches facing one another for the ultimate chatting, game-playing, and view-enjoying experiences. :-) The tv is a smart tv ready for you to log in and our internet is high speed fibre. The queen sized bedroom has a fun art collection and show-stopping views of Devil's Peak from both the bed and the desk. There is a fan and heater in this room. Across the hallway from this bedroom is a bathroom with bathtub and shower. The ensuite master bedroom may be the best room in the whole apartment. It is a massive space with a king sized bed, beautiful views of the mountains, a large walk-in closet, and a bathroom with shower. There is a fan and heater in this room. The balcony wraps around two sides of the apartment. There is a Weber and a large outdoor dining space on one side of the balcony and a built in lounge space on the other side. The laundry, gym, and pool areas are all communal for the whole building, though Lyness will pay for and do your laundry when she comes in to clean.

LOADSHEDDING INFO: We have installed an inverter system in this apartment that can withstand loadshedding-- top of the line Victron inverter and Freedom battery. The oven will not work during loadshedding, but the stovetop is gas so you'll still be cooking! We also ask that the heaters be turned off during loadshedding and that the aircon be turned off for any loadshedding that will extend beyond 2 hours. If you're an international traveler that is unfamiliar with loadshedding, please feel free to send me some questions. Our building has a UPS system for the security system and entrances and exits so it is still completely secure and navigable during the outages. Brent and I really enjoy hosting and welcoming people into our homes. We will be available via phone and Lyness will be available in person 1 to 3 days a week depending on your preference. She has been working with us for 9 years :-)

Bo Kaap is incredible-- home to the amazing colourful homes often pictured in Cape Town photos, and also the location of the famous Atlas Trading Co. This apartment is literally right on the edge of the nature reserve and situated on Signal Hill. We are also close to the many restaurants downtown and on Kloof. Ubers rarely take longer than 2 minutes to arrive and are very affordable, and Checkers60 is a grocery app that delivers to our home. The Waterfront is only 2.5km away, the Sea Point Promenade is 5 min away, and we are only a 9 minute drive from Camps Bay.
