About this property
Built in the early 1900s, Sweet Orange is a restored Victorian house 1476 feet from the Atlantic Ocean in Sea Point suburb. It features a garden with small pool, indoor and outdoor seating areas and free parking. The individually-designed, spacious rooms have lovingly restored ceilings, doors and wooden floors. Each provides a flat-screen TV, safe and private bathroom with hairdryer. In summer the extensive continental breakfast is taken on the stone terrace by the pool. In winter it is served on the big kitchen table next to the fireplace. Packed lunches are available for trips, which the staff can book on guests’ behalf. Small shops, cafes and restaurants can be found within 10 minutes’ walk and the V&A Waterfront is 6 minutes by car. Sweet Orange Guest House can organize car rental and provide pick-up from Cape Town International Airport, 14 mi away.
