Wedmore Place is a recently renovated set guesthouse in the heart of Grahamstown's Somerset Heights neighborhood. Our two guest rooms are newly renovated, and are set away from the main house, with views over the inner courtyard. The property is fully secured, and there is one off street parking bay per suite. The property provides free WiFi, flat-screen TV with Netflix, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffee maker (available on request), an ensuite bathroom with a shower, an hairdryer, ironing facilities, fan and a closet. The guesthouse has an family room. The property is within walking distance of Greame College and a short drive away from Rhodes University, DSG, St Andrew's College, Kingswood College and VG. Guests are provided with their own access control for the period of their visit, ensuring easy access and security at all times. Popular points of interest near the property include Pepper Grove Mall, South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity, St Patrick's Catholic Church, St Michael and St George Cathedral, Albany Museum, Observatory Museum Grahamstown and many Game Farms.
Somerset Heights is a leafy green suburb on the north-western slopes of Grahamstown. The suburb commands lovley views over the city of saints and is a nature lovers paradise with unspoilt vegetation and a small dam.
