We stop here on our way driving from Alicante to Val Thorens, France. We chose it for the location but love it for the charm, the food, and the staff. It's a really cute place and an excellent value. We especially love having such a nice meal after a long day of driving.

Renovated in 2023 the Ibis de Balaruc les Bains Bien-être et Spa is located 1 km from the thermal baths and 9 km from Sète and offers a spa centre, a beauty centre and a heated, indoor swimming pool. Did not take Breakfast. Room was excellent in both cleanliness and quiet location at the back of the Hotel. So good we made another booking for later in the month.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They kindly kept our freezer packs in their freezers in a bag so we could keep our food cold the next day as we continued our travels. There is a bar and restaurant on site which we used for dinner. The food was great. We had a familial room with a fold out couch. It was nice the couch was already unfolded and bed was made when we came in. AC unit was quiet and worked well. The hotel also serves breakfast, but we didn't eat there. We stopped by a boulangerie called Marie Blachère which was only a couple minutes away, as we were heading out of town. They also had coffee/hot drinks to go and even a sandwich shop. We didn't use the pool but it was secured with a gate and there were lounging chairs, chairs and tables. Plenty of room in the parking lot which is also secured at night. Overall we had a great stay!
