“Unfortunately I could not stay for breakfast but I was given an excellent recommendation for my dinner plans even though I arrived quite late to check in!”
“The historic atmosphere of this inn makes it an interesting place to stay. The entry area is bright and cosy. Although our room was small, it was quiet, clean & comfortable, and the bathroom was modern & roomy. The resident ghost adds character to the inn, and is not in any way scary. If you are lucky, you may hear her! It was nice to stay in a smaller inn instead of a large impersonal hotel. We would definitely stay there again.”
“Fair rates! Breakfast included. Good value. Close to Halifax Downtown and many places are in walk distance. Walking around North end from the Inn is not recommended; you better have a car to travel to other areas except Halifax Downtown!”
“This was a beautiful historic Inn with very comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with homemade muffins and meats and cheeses. We parked our car at the property and walked everywhere. The harbour is about a 15 minute walk. downtown is about 10 mins. Walk.”
“It is a nice historic inn in downtown Halifax, well within walking distance of the many points of interest along the harbor and Spring Garden Road. Access into the property would be tough for anyone requiring handicap access or has limited mobility. The room was spacious and clean.”
