A traditional 18th-century country inn, the uniquely named Lion and Fiddle is situated in the village of Hilperton.

Breakfast was good , unfortunately the road into the village was closed, 2 mile detour each time , at least that won’t be there for long .

With picturesque gardens and a dining terrace, this charming 16th-century property is set in 1.5 acres of Wiltshire countryside. Free WiFi and free private parking are offered.

The inn is so charming with lovely gardens and a warm homey feel in our room as well as the restaurant/pub. Breakfast was delicious as were the meat pies and all the meals the chef prepared for us. Everyone, especially Carly, Brandon and Layla were happy to help us with anything we asked. Thank you all for a perfect first trip to the English countryside!

The Old Ham Tree in Holt is a traditional village pub offering bed and breakfast on the Wiltshire/Somerset border.

Beautiful place in medieval England style. Very friendly and helpful staff! Room nice and clean. I will absolutely recommend.

What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

On the banks of the River Avon, Timbrell's Yard is a 15-minute drive from historical Bath.

It was outstanting The staff was the sweetest most adorable every single one of them ..the best ever ...most kind ever The vegan meals were to die for..the location is superb..we love everything super clean super cozy

Great rooms above a quaint and homey pub. Book a meal also… my hubby felt like we walked into a movie scene where the locals are all happy, having a pint by the fire… great atmosphere
