  • Go to Tetebatu, and stay here if you can! The area is serene, especially the rice fields and monkey forest, and gives you a glimpse at local life away from the tourist crowds, and your tourist money goes to people who have worked hard to earn it. Mu is great! I told him my limited time and interests in advance, and he planned and guided my tour of the area - it was perfect, a special day. Clean, comfortable homestay, good breakfast, dinner nearby. If you are coming from the Gilis, contact your Tetebatu guest house for a ride.

  • This place was awesome! Totally worth it. Every night they have traditional family dinner and it was so delicious! You sit on the floor with the family and all eat together. It’s right by the volcano as well so if you’re planning on hiking it’s a great spot. It’s very authentic here and if you want a good local feeling, stay here! The family can also organise day excursions for you which is really nice! We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place highly! Also, breakfast was delish!

  • Interesting place to stay, sleeping in a traditional Lombok house. Everything worked and was clean and comfortable. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Led a lovely walk in neighbouring countryside and provided a excellent home cooked dinner one evening.

  • Our host was extremely welcoming and nice with us. His english is good and he even speak some french. He gave us some good recommendations, we went to do a half day trek with his nephew, and he took great care of us. He made us lunch and dinner and the food was delicious. The place is well located and the view from the high bedroom is really nice. If you want a real homestay, that is where you should go (they also offer guiding to Rinjani).

  • Amazing view to mount Runjani, fabulous breakfast and dinner, very clean, very kind and helpful staff. Thomas and Katie are amazing hosts, helping with everything. Very nice trekking to waterfalls, rice fields,...Absolutely recommended!!!
