We certainly felt like family guests rather than customers. The guest house is situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Staufen (20 minute walk with kids) and is very quiet and peaceful. Parking was plentiful and easy. When visiting the area again, we would definitely be hoping to stay here again.

A charming and comfortable place for visiting the Black Forest area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and had a lot of storage for clothes and gear. The breakfast was great! Meats, cheeses, fruit, bread and pastries, yogurt, also eggs and bacon cooked to order.

This traditional family run country inn exists since 1810. Landgasthaus Sonne offers a large sun terrace and great views of the Stockerbachtal Valley. The staff was very kind and attentive, the facilities and location of the house were lovely and the rooms were all very clean. Everything was really nice

The family room was big and perfect for our family of 5, with a large 2-person bed and 3 singles. It had a balcony with a beautiful view of the valley. Breakfast was perfect...my kids' favorite breakfast for our many-citied trip. Alex said she didn't speak much English, and then we had long conversations in English with no problem! She is an amazing host! The location is wonderfully quiet but close to everything. You can hike straight from the guesthouse into the Black Forest. I couldn't recommend it more!
