The surrounding countryside is beautiful, despite some rainy weather while we were there.

Wonderful stay, the space is very clean and the room more spacious than expected. Very quiet area on weekdays. All necessary amenities available. The owner was very helpful and quick to reply to messages. Unlikely I'll be in the area again but if I were, I would stay here again 100%!

The accommodation experience was great. It was a quiet and comfortable location. The room was very clean. The owner of the accommodation was very nice and could communicate with guests through translation software. In addition, the owner’s cooking skills were very good. The Hotel Route Inn was perfect for our needs as we drove north from Tokyo to see the festival in Minami-Soma. Conveniently located on the main express way heading to Sendai, the property had ample parking, clean and comfortable rooms, a good breakfast buffet, and a great bath to relax in.

The staff was amazing. very kind, dedicated and helpful. we had one of greatest massage ever on the 6th floor with the nicest lady - this was amazing!! Dinner was a very nice experience. nature around the hotel is fascinating, great location! Also the shuttle bus is an excellent service and the driver very kind. all and all very memorable experience.

The breakfast buffet was amazing. There was so many options we tried so many different things we had never before. The dinner was also a great experience. We had an 8 course meal and the waiter was great at explaining what everything was.

A few days before the start of our journey, the hotel contacted us to say that they were unfortunately unable to provide us with the room due to work. However, they offered to book a room for us at their partner hotel, which was only a few minutes' walk away at Kutsurogijuku Shintaki. The staff were very accommodating and even when we asked for a vegan dinner, everything was made possible. We were very satisfied.

A pleasant traditional ski lodge feel. Rooms are small, but adequate and the facilities are spotless. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
