The location was excellent, close to the station, and some important landmarks were about a 10-minute walk away. The room was spacious and very clean. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

And they won't leave you hanging if you encounter any difficulty. On the last night of my stay, I got myself in a situation where my rental bike got stuck in a closed parking lot; they offered to go and return it for me in the morning so that I wouldn't have to worry about it before leaving. They really did me a solid there! So, yeah, if you want to have the opportunity to interact with people who have a true sense of hospitality and community and are looking to hear about the city from the perspective of people who live there, you cannot go wrong with Kokonoe Michiya. Plus, it's close to what turned out to be my favorite part of the city; the northernmost areas.

Offering air-conditioned rooms in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, situated between Kamogawa River and Takase canal, Hazuki Kyoto is 20 minutes stroll from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion District. From the arrival to the end, everything was great at Hazuki. The guest room was wonderful, clean and quiet. The bath is also really enjoyable after a good walking day. You also have everything you need if you want to drink or eat something. The location is perfect to visit Kyoto. Till you respect the rules, your stay will be unforgetable. At last, a really Big Thank to Takase for his kindness and everything he did to make our stay so incredible.

Providing free WiFi and a garden in a renovated 50-year old building with mountain views from the property, Rc Hotel Kyoto Yasaka offers accommodation in Kyoto, 600 metres from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. I can say that the location of the room is the best in Kyoto. The view from our room was of Hōkan-ji Temple, it was very happy to start the day with this view. Our room and bathroom are large by Japanese standards. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
