Staying at Tree House was an unforgettable experience! The place has a truly family-like atmosphere — we were in constant contact with the owner and his family, and we felt very safe and well cared for. The owner has a tuk tuk and can take you to different attractions or historical sites anytime you need. He’s extremely helpful, always ready to answer any questions, and gives great tips on where to eat and what to see. The food was absolutely incredible — Tree House was the first place we stayed in Sri Lanka, and nowhere else did we eat so well afterward! The owner’s mother does the cooking, so the meals are truly local, homemade, and full of authentic flavors. Every day we could try a different Sri Lankan dish, and the portions were generous and filling. We also had unlimited free bottled water. We were the only guests in the peaceful garden where the tree house is located, surrounded by local animals, calm, and quiet nature. The whole place is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. It’s also close to many shops, restaurants, and the lake. We highly recommend this wonderful place! 🌴✨
