I had such a beautiful stay at the In Stone House. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the hotel's terrace had amazing views and in the morning you can see the balloons, the take off place was also very near. I didn't travel with pets, but I was happy to see that they allow them in the hotel and that they care for the animals, the cats have bowls of water and food and there were some playful kittens as well on the property. The hospitality was amazing, the owner, Bulent speaks very good English and is super helpful, he gave me some hiking tips and borrowed the map as well for my hike. Filiz cooks the most amazing and fresh breakfast, with different dishes everyday. The location is on a quiet street, with views to the Cavusin castle (great spot to watch the balloons in the morning, they came very close to the top of the castle) and you can walk from the hotel to hike the famous Rose and Red Valleys. Totally recommended the place! Many thanks to all the staff for a wonderful time!

I was the only guest at the hotel at that time, and from the room, hospitality, breakfast, everything exceeded my expectations. The view from the rooftop is also great for balloon watching. Even from my window, I could see them.

Highly recommend Serinn House in Urgup as the best place to experience the magic of Cappadocia. A beautifully renovated 3 room cave hotel a 15 minute downhill walk outside the charming village of Urgup, which has all the old cave homes, lovely places to eat and gorgeous local hand crafts and all the Turkish souvenirs. I advise getting a taxi back as its a hefty uphill walk back, there is a taxi rank and a taxi will set you back about 300 Lira - around €3. Erin and her staff are beautiful, friendly and helpful people and they made our stay really special. Erin's English is impeccable and all her recommendations were brilliant. We stayed at the end of October and I posted a picture of SOME of the gorgeous breakfast - we were the only ones staying in the hotel and there was everything you might possibly want and the quality was outstanding, The whole experience was so much better than many of the fancy or boutique hotels I've stayed in and is really great value for money. I only wish I could go back! Urgup is a great base to explore Cappadocia and much prettier and real than places like Goreme which were pretty cheap and tacky looking but oddly expensive.

Sahin stands out for his remarkable aid in organizing airport transfers, sunrise hot air balloon excursions, and hikes through Rose Valley. His father's expertise in rugs adds an educational dimension to the stay, enriched by insights into various rug types and knots.

Maron Stone House er staðsett í sögulega Göreme-héraðinu í Kappadókíu og býður upp á verönd með útsýni yfir Red- og Rose-dalina og Uchisar-kastalann. The property is managed by a friendly family who are genuine in their willingness to make the stay a pleasure. The rooms are spotless. We chose the room with terrace and highly recommend this. It is a nice reprieve of fresh air in a stone house. Bonus is that you will see the hot air balloons intimately each morning from your terrace. The breakfast is an authentic Turkish buffet breakfast akin to visiting mom for breakfast - simple and delicious! The location is brilliant. Less than 10 minutes stroll to the city centre and far enough to be quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The value for this property is outstanding and we highly recommend to any traveller visiting Cappadocia.
