The trails were perfect for hiking on a crisp October day. Visited in between biking and skiing times, and it was sooooo quiet. Colorful. Deer everywhere. And the bar / restaurant is open all year :) It’s only 1.5 miles from Snowshoe proper but honestly during the offseason we were finding ourselves enjoying the trails and scenery and bar right at Silver Creek. Inside hot tub and heated pool was nice too. The room was specious and clean, great water pressure and full appliances. And coffee waiting to be brewed. Bed was comfy. Everyone on staff was nice and answered any questions and gave great recommendations. Can’t wait to come back in season for winter fun and in summer for the bike park. The hosts responded about 30 seconds after I pressed send with any question. Highly recommend staying here for the overall value. 6 stars.

Nice collections of shops and restaurants in the area, although they were rather overpriced. This made the well-supplied kitchen in the unit all the more appealing! The room was comfortable and well furnished. Even with the fold-out couch being used, we didn't feel cramped. The hot tub two floors below was nice.
