Opened in December 2012, this resort is located at the foot of the Tennengebirge Mountains, 1 km from the ski lift. Bergresort Werfenweng includes a spa area with indoor and outdoor pools. We had a lovely stay. The location, spa and breakfasts were the highlights! Hiking was excellent, even in the rain, and when the clouds cleared it was breathtaking. I wish we’d had more time and taken more advantage of the free shuttle service to explore more of the area.
