I recently hosted a large event at the hotel for the American Chamber of Commerce. We were incredibly happy with the property and the service of their amazing staff. Our customers attending the event were universally agreed that they’d be staying frequently at this hotel as Dalian’s nicest luxury property! It is such an upgrade to anything else in the city and truly embodies what a luxury hotel should be. This hotel absolutely not only lives up to the brand but elevates Four Seasons properties in China to a new level. Wayne the GM is an incredibly gracious expert host who has spent his career with Four Seasons and it shows!

The staff were highly professional and very friendly. They were competent in English communication and everything was perfect. The location is nearby from major markets and restaurants. Overall it is a perfect stay for work or vacation with family. The kitchen is well equipped to cook light meals as well.

The rooms were world class, even by other Grand Hyatts i have stayed at in other countries. The room automation/technology. attention to detail to basic conveniences...all cant be described, need to be experienced to appreciate. Infact the giant window and breathtaking view itself is worth it.

Only a few steps away from Xinghai Square, The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian offers high-end accommodations with elegantly-decorated rooms.

Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Staff Knowledge and Unprofessional Handling of Payments My stay at Le Méridien was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The biggest issue was with the payment process. Upon check-in, the hotel staff guided me to make a payment using Apple Pay. I followed their instructions and completed the transaction. However, after the payment was processed, the staff suddenly informed me that Apple Pay was not an acceptable payment method. This should have been clearly communicated before accepting the payment. As a result of the staff’s mistake, I was forced to make an additional payment of approximately 3,000 RMB, causing unnecessary financial inconvenience. To make matters worse, during checkout I paid nearly 2,000 RMB for my two-day stay, yet the original 3,000 RMB payment has still not been refunded. Despite repeated inquiries, the hotel has only responded by saying that they will “investigate” the matter. There has been no clear resolution, timeline, or accountability. It is unacceptable that a guest has to wait for a refund because hotel staff failed to properly understand and communicate their own payment procedures. I expect a hotel of Le Méridien’s reputation to have well-trained staff who understand payment methods and provide accurate guidance to guests. Instead, I experienced confusion, inconvenience, and poor customer service.

Furama Hotel Dalian is located in the city’s commercial area, a 3-minute drive from Dalian Harbor and Zhongshan Square.

Great location and very comfortable rooms. The rooms sizes are quite large with all you would need for a great stay. The hotel has a few restaurants which were amazing, especially the buffet breakfast place with tons of food to choose from.
