A 5-minute walk from Oberhof town centre, this traditional hotel offers a spacious wellness area, brightly decorated rooms, and regional cuisine. It stands in a large park in the Thuringian Forest. The hotel has great location. It is a great starting point for trekking in the mountains. Staff is extremely helpful. A lot of place to park around the hotel.

This place is on top of a hill, on the edge of Ruhla and you get a lovely view of the mountains and forest around. As far as I could see, there are five units (called bungalows) with private bathroom and kitchen. Ours was one of the smaller ones, perfect for a couple. The unit has all the necessary facilities, it is homey and the view is just gorgeous. There is a private terrace for each unit, plus an enclosure with a few cool-looking alpacas. You really need your own wheels as there are no shops or restaurants nearby. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes drive away.

Located in a historic 19th-century villa, this modern hotel enjoys a picturesque setting in the popular winter sports resort. Lovely setting, short walk into the town centre. Facilities were nice and the villa set back from the main hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and diverse.
