The first room we were shown had a very dirty floor and the toilet leaked. The doorman did not offer to carry any of our suitcases even though we arrived at night in the rain with 2 small children and he could see we were struggling. He was the only staff member in the whole hotel. He wasn’t happy about having to look for another room For us. The other staff the next day were equally indifferent to us.

Hotel Spa Mansion Santa Isabella offers stylish accommodation in the centre of Riobamba, in an Ecuadorian colonial-style house with an indoor fountain, just 300 metres from the Cathedral of Riobamba. Beautiful hotel with lovely decorations. Super helpful and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and very clean. Would stay here for longer if I had more time.
