Booked last-minute and Simon the owner was incredibly helpful and informative. The whole house to ourselves, it was lovely and clean. The hot tub was clean and up to the temperature for arrival. Loved our stay and will be back again.

Our host was brilliant and on hand for anything we needed. Location is great, really handy for getting in to York. Also loved the visits from the cats and peacock during our stay!

The silent Atmosphere and the hospitality, Debbie her staff (family) are real gem to be around with, helped us with short sight seeing walking route which was not on the map, really found a hidden gem, we'll go their again whenever we get the chance to sneak out and Rob, he is really helpful and very enthusiast to help us.

What a super place for a relaxing night away - we used the hot tub, chilled with a glass of wine. Didnt use wifi or turn the TV on ! the geese were lovely to watch am. Slept so well. Such a peaceful location.

The title ‘Cosy’ was perfect as it was super cosy, decorated for Christmas inside and out making our trip to York for the festive markets more magical. Collette added a touch of luxury with a stylish four poster bed and attention to detail will all fixtures fittings and soft furnishings. The kitchen was very well equipped for our needs and the rainforest shower was both powerful and hot. My personal favourite in this flat was the beautiful Christmas tree with the little train ornament around the bottom. We took advantage on the Lazy spa hot tub outside which we enjoyed. The garden also decorated to add Christmas magic. Collette was on hand when we needed assistance to cover it properly for the falling temperatures on the 2 nights we stayed. As for keeping warm, there is not chance of getting cold as there was certainly adequate heating and at times we had to turn the heater off.

You can really tell that every little detail has been thoughtfully taken care of. We enjoyed every moment and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Thank you so much for making our anniversary trip amazing!
