Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre has a stunning location on the banks of the River Shannon. It is 20 km from Limerick and Nenagh, and just off the N7. The room had everything one would need, with bathrobes provided and large comfortable bed. The bathroom included both a shower and a bathtub which was very nice. Though the weather was not good enough to use the patio, we expected as much at this time of year, but its inclusion was appreciated, with a lovely view on to the river and pier below. The breakfast was good, especially with room service being available, made it very handy so that we did not need to walk from the lakeside part of the hotel to the main building. The leisure centre had everything one would expect.

The property is in beautiful County Kerry in the quiet countryside. We enjoyed the hot tub, and seeing the night sky and the moon and stars. We also really enjoyed the villa acccomodation with the wood stove. Mike was very accommodating, allowing us access to more wood to build our fires etc. highly recommend this property.

Rachel was the best host. Nothing was a problem for her when it came to making our stay amazing to the point where she assisted pumping one of my flat tyres! Attention to detail in accommodation was so good between the small informal bar area for late night revellers, high vis jacket and torch for walk into Schull village, a really thoughtful breakfast menu with a refreshing fruit shot included and little treats in the room like chocolate coins.
