Every interaction felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are impeccably clean—truly spotless—with a sense of calm, light, making the space feel instantly relaxing. Housekeeping and presentation are flawless, and the atmosphere throughout the property is serene and elegant. The food is outstanding, from breakfast all the way to dinner. Each plate showed great care, quality ingredients, and fantastic balance of flavours. The sommelier is superb: extremely knowledgeable, with thoughtful pairings and explanations that elevate the entire dining experience. Unequivocally outstanding !!

We loved the house - beautifully designed, very comfortable. Nice views of the sea and bordered by fruit trees. Nice mix of Japanese and modern/Scandinavian design. Highly recommend, especially if traveling as a couple.

Our hosts, Genki and Emi, were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and kind!! Their home stay is beautiful and elegantly decorated. The bedding is crazy comfortable, like, best sleep of our trip good. And the location is great and near many good restaurants. Genki and Emi prepared many recommendations and tips for us, and we look forward to staying in touch!!

It was such a lovely stay, the host was amazing. She welcomed us and helped us make a dinner reservation as well. The apartment is spacious and clean and has everything that's needed. Location is perfect and it also has a parking spot next to the house. Recommending everyone to stay here

Big Bear San was an exceptional host, making sure we had the best experience possible! This was by far the best experience we had here in Japan. I cannot recommend it enough to stay here and experience the magic of the guest house, big bear San and the beautiful area!
