Set in Kanazawa, 2 km from Kanazawa Castle, HOTEL 101 KANAZAWA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel was incredible and the room, was the most beautiful place we stayed in Japan. The staff was kind and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. The breakfast was also truly amazing in a beautiful private traditional Japanese room.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Kimachi-tei（きまち亭） is set in Toyama, 3 km from Minami-Toyama Station and 8.4 km from Toyama Family Park. This property is spotlessly clean and in an extremely good location. Matsuda-san took the effort to pick us up from Toyama train station and even offered to send us back to the train station on our day of departure to Tokyo. The size of the house in Japan is second to none, and there are lots of space for a family up to 8 even. The house is fully equipped with ALL the essentials, including not one but two washing machines with built in dryer as well. The bath tub inside the bathroom is probably one of the biggest I have had in Japan thus far. I will highly recommended this beautiful house if you are planning to visit Toyama.

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. The hosts are great and very helpful. The hotel is super cozy and comfortable. We slept in a traditional room with tatami, which was quite big. You can use the common bathroom (hot tub) as a private one, which is also quite nice.

Set within 7.2 km of Toyama Station and 8.3 km of Toyama-kō, Hotel Torni ホテル トルニ features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Toyama. I loved my stay at Hotel Torni. I stayed with my family, as it was cheap and we were only there for one night. But it was great. Huge room and bathroom, bed was super comfy. I was able to connect my phone to the TV and use free wifi. And had a simple but filling breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. You can notice features of a love hotel, however this shouldn't deter you from booking as everything was clean, discreet and can still be a great stay for a regular group of family or friends.

Situated in Kanazawa in the Ishikawa region, with Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden nearby, Kenrokutei Oyado features accommodation with free private parking. Our friendly host was there to receive us when we arrived, and gave us a tour of the 100year old timber house / to show us how to enjoy the place. Went with my Parents, my brother and sister in law, and 2 kids and had a blast. We were driving a Toyota Alphard which was too big to park in the front yard of the property, but the host had a nearby parking spot next door / so it was completely fuss free (: Kitchen is well equipped, the place is very clean, and the Castle is very nearby. Exceptional stay!

42 km from Phoenix Plaza in Minamiechizen, Nouka Minsyuku Hyousa features accommodation with access to a hot tub. Clean, convenient and the host was delightful. Breakfast was delicious and they gave me onigiri for the road, which they did not need to do.

Located a 2-minute walk from Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, House Hotel Kenrokuzaka offers accommodation with a kitchenette. The location of the house is wonderful. It’s close to the Kenrokuen garden and castle and a pleasant walk to other attractions.
