Hotel Morinokaze Hakone Sengokuhara er gististaður með baði undir berum himni, garði og bar. Fabulous location. Beautiful views of the countryside. Very convenient location. Staff were so friendly and accommodating! The amenities and room setup was fantastic and beautiful and very new looking. And the onsen? So relaxing and invigorating, clean and supplied with everything and anything one would need for cleansing and healing. The meals both at breakfast and at dinner were spectacular!

YUPOPPO Hakone er staðsett í Hakone, 43 km frá Fuji-Q Highland og státar af garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og fjallaútsýni. Everything was very nice in this very traditional Ryokan, including the little train-oriented decor. The owner was very kind and helpful, and also gave us an unexpected little welcome cake. The possibility to book a private onsen (male & female together) in the evening and morning was also much appreciated!

Ideally located in Yokohama, The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama, open from September 2020, offers lavishly-decorated air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The room and view was spectacular. Truly 5 star. The gym was very well equipped and open 24 hours…even Chris Bumsted (Mr Olympia) would have been happy. The spa facilities were excellent.

AROMA KURAVI (Adult Only) býður upp á loftkæld herbergi með flatskjá í Kawasaki Ward-hverfinu í Kawasaki. We stayed four nights and used it as a base to get to Tokyo, Yokohama and Kamakura from there. The room was a lot bigger than the typical Japanese hotel rooms. There are no windows, so it's always dark in the room, which is OK for when you get back and just want to go to sleep. A bit odd not knowing if the sun is up in the morning through. The bathroom was huge! And the bath was also a jacuzzi. Nice and quiet area of Kawasaki that is not too far from the train station (both for JR as well as the train from Haneda). We arrived early at Haneda (landed 5.30am). We got to the hotel by 8.30am, and Sou who welcomed us there was happy to store our luggage (check-in as usual for most hotels in Japan is 3pm). We went straight to Tokyo and got back at 8.30pm. At that stage the luggage was in our room, and we could help ourselves to the Oden and Sake. The breakfast was simple, two onigiri, a bowl of miso, coffee, juice AND sake available too. There's a laundromat just across the road. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. It's nice staying in Kawasaki, away from the busy Tokyo.
