Dinner and breakfast were good and delicious. The owner was very kind to fetch me from the station in the evening and he drove me back to the station in the morning in the rain which was much appreciated by me.

HANARE紡舎Tsumugiya is a recently renovated holiday home in Ogawa, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This is a beautiful and very large accommodation (an entire house), that seems to be taken right out of an interior design magazine! It is clear that the owners and beautifully carefully renovated an old traditional Japanese house. It is a joy to stay here! Night skies are especially beautiful.

Boasting an outdoor pool, a hot spring bath and a hot tub, private villa YUHIMI 夕日見の丘 is set in Wajiki, 32 km from Kōchi Station and 34 km from Kami City Takashi Yanase Memorial Hall. Immaculately clean house with every need catered for. Great place to rest for a day after travelling for a few weeks. Host communicated well and was very considerate. The nearby Loki cave is well worth a look.

This place is a rare gem! We stayed for only 3 nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer! Naoko is the warmest and most accommodating host! We loved her home, it was super comfortable and her food is amazing! Breakfast is included, both Japanese and Western breakfasts were delicious, and her dinners too! Every dish was a delight! Naoko really went above and beyond for us, and even made us bento box lunches to take with us. Our 6 year old son, had the best time! He became bestfriends with Naoko’s dog, Taro. They went for walks, played, fished for tadpoles and frogs together. We also became very acquainted with her chickens and rooster. This place is perfect for kids to run free and have fun! To get there, it’s best to rent a car. Kochi is so beautiful and worth a visit. For us, 3 nights wasn’t enough. We hope to have the chance to see Naoko, Taro and the chickens again!

A real gem, in a beautiful part of Shikoku. Nicely renovated and spacious room with view over the sea, great welcome by staff, very good breakfast and the best: outside hot bath with view over the cliffs (and probably the stars, hidden that day by the clouds). It was a last minute decision to go there, decision I do not regret. The restaurant was unfortunately closed on a Wednesday, but there was a nearby place that served excellent homemade food (Café Cape).

Not too far from Kochi station by foot or taxi, you have large spacious rooms, quite clean, a wonderful bathroom with bubble bath, a comfortable bed. You can add a very nice breakfasts, bloody affordable (I wholeheartedly recommend the toasts, excellent), Let's add that the staff is awesome, and helping.

Guest house MICHISHIO er með heitan pott og loftkæld gistirými í Kannoura, 2 km frá Shirahama-ströndinni, 27 km frá Mollusco Mugi-safninu og 44 km frá Hiwasa Chelonian-safninu. We stayed in the guesthouse while cycling around Shikoku. The guesthouse was very close to the beach which was lovely. We stored our bikes just outside the main entry in this small town. The guesthouse was very clean and had laundry facilities. We ate in the restaurant that was part of the guesthouse and had a plentiful meal.
