The apartment was very modern and clean. The beds were nice and we even played a little on the Nintendo Switch that was connected to the TV. We had a great time!

I stayed just for one night here, but simply loved it! Everything was brand new and clean, and so many helpful items like skin care products, an iPad to play music, and even sweets! You can certainly feel the care and love that was put in each part of it. The place felt so cozy that I honestly wished I could stay there the whole day just chilling! Definitely coming back again!

The place is perfect for discovering the coast (the beach is 200 meters away) but especially if you want to do one of the many sections of Kumano path. The family who runs this ryokan were extremely attentive to every detail of our stay. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The common areas are very clean, the bathrooms have a small onsen which is very pleasant at the end of the day! The highlight of the stay is the meals and breakfasts. The chef is a master of Japanese cuisine! Each dish transported us during the three nights we spent here, a treat! Local specialties are based on seafood and fish. We tasted many new flavors, always balanced and refined. We highly recommend this peaceful place, and hope to return.

We loved the peace and the view from the fishing port (1min's walk). The host was very responsive and provided plenty of instructions so the check in process was smooth sailing.
