The place is really special! The host is super nice and helpful. While staying at Mr. Hiro’s place you can feel the real Japan. The whole place was very clean and there was a cozy onsen inside. We highway recommend it!

The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. We were expecting a fine hotel experience for our trip to Nikko but experienced so much more at the Ritz Carlton. Elevated, serene, beautiful facilities and accommodations along with one superlative food experience, made for one of our favorite stays anywhere, ever. Both of our rooms were wonderful, but the suite was just wonderful. All of the food was very good during our stay, but our omakase experience - our favorite sushi ever and one of our favorite meals ever. (For what it's worth, I have never used 'ever' so often in a review) Consistently friendly, helpful staff as well. This is a unique and special place and I fully expect that we'll retreat here again on future trips to Tokyo.

Homey place with such a nice host that did all she could do to make us feel comfortable. Huge tasty breakfast, relaxing tatami room, and quite green surroundings. Great place!

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. Different types of onsen styles, traditional dinner, ambiance and hospitality of staff

Nagtatampok ng mga tanawin ng hardin, nag-aalok ang Nikko Retreat ng accommodation na may terrace at patio, nasa wala pang 1 km mula sa Tobu Nikko Station. The best part is climbing net and loft upstairs - my kids very super excited and spent their all free time. Spacious clean and warm rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, with all necessary appliances in the kitchen. The house is suitable for short and long stay any season, as there are heaters and air-conditioning system.

Nagtatampok ng naka-air condition na accommodation na may balcony, matatagpuan ang Kokage Villa Nikko-KVN sa Nikko. The property was absolutely beautiful and the location couldn’t be better! I can only dream of what it must look like in spring when the massive cherry blossom tree is in bloom. The meat, fruit and coffee was a really nice touch.

Grate experience in Nikko if you are looking for a bit of a remote area. Beautiful and quiet environment. The Onsen in the hotel is amazing, especially the private one! The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.
