Hiroshi is a very thoughtful and kind man. We stayed at his beautiful traditional Japanese house and slept on very comfortable futons. He has a small private "onsen", which he prepared for us daily so we could bathe in hot water after returning from our day-trips. He adjusted to our schedules and picked and dropped us off at the station each day. He also recommended several restaurants (even reserved a table for us at one) and a traditional mountain onsen. Highly recommended, we hope to return someday.

The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in from extremely friendly and responsive staff to facilities. Everything is perfect

Matatagpuan sa Mashiko, 46 km mula sa Mito Station at 13 km mula sa Igashira Park, nagtatampok ang Morino Garden Mashiko ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, air conditioning, mga libreng bisikleta,... Morino Garden is a hidden gem. We stayed in one of the tatami rooms and enjoyed the comfort. The room has a sink, fridge, and microwave, and the shared toilet is barely a step away. (Shower is downstairs, still quite convenient.) But the real charm of Morino Garden is the host. Yuriko went above and beyond for us, offering rides, luggage storage, and even a meal we hadn’t booked. We felt as if we’d been welcomed into a home—as, indeed, we had.

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. We had a lovely room with a view of the river and cozy futons. The onsen were excellent, especially the private ones, and we enjoyed the Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We really loved our stay and would definitely like to come again.

The best part is climbing net and loft upstairs - my kids very super excited and spent their all free time. Spacious clean and warm rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, with all necessary appliances in the kitchen. The house is suitable for short and long stay any season, as there are heaters and air-conditioning system.

Nagtatampok ng naka-air condition na accommodation na may balcony, matatagpuan ang Kokage Villa Nikko-KVN sa Nikko. This villa made our stay to be something special. I cannot recommend this place more. Everything is modern and all appliances are there and top quality. We loved Nikko but this villa made our stay more special. It is quiet, clean, very spacious, has a great tv and bed + umbrellas and all the small details you need to accommodate bad weather. We loved our stay.

Grate experience in Nikko if you are looking for a bit of a remote area. Beautiful and quiet environment. The Onsen in the hotel is amazing, especially the private one! The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.
