Situated in Manteigas, 16 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, Vila Galé Collection Serra da Estrela features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

Villa Regadio er staðsett í innan við 30 km fjarlægð frá Parque Natural Serra da Estrela og 22 km frá Belmonte Calvário-kapellunni. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi í Covilhã.... In the country overlooking the valley and the town. Facilities were new and owner Sarah was super. After driving from Madrid and arriving around 3:30 we didn’t want the hassle of driving into town for dinner (town is typical rural Portugal) but every restaurant in the area delivers so we sat by the pool, had a beer or wine, jumped into the jacuzzi and waited for food. Bed very comfortable, shower great and lots of stars at night. There are not many rooms so we had the whole grounds to ourselves 😀 Plus the national park is in the vicinity for hiking the next day.

We were met by the host on arrival, who was mowing the lawn. Very tranquil location and it was clear not many UK tourists visit Miuzela and the surroundings. Make sure you stock up with cooking/ eating supplies if you arrive at the wekend as not many places are open to shop or eat. Lovely house with excellent garden and pool. Lot's of medieval castles to see within 45 minutes drive along deserted roads. El Contro (bar opposite house0 was very kind to sell us milk and water and a few beers with the locals. If you dont speak Portuguese brush up on your Spanish and French as English is not used much in these parts.Parking is on site and simple.

Perched high above the surroundings, Villa Alzira is a little gem. Truly 5 star accommodation. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the view was absolutely stunning. Everything you could need was provided, with lovely welcome touches and an amazing breakfast that was simply to die for. The whole area is superb, with easy parking, great accessibility, and no stairs. Everything about our stay felt effortless and comfortable. Beyond perfect. On top of that, the hosts are wonderful people. Highly recommended.

Manteigas Lovers er nýuppgerð íbúð með garði og grillaðstöðu en hún er staðsett í Manteigas, í sögulegri byggingu, 25 km frá Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Gistirýmið er með garðútsýni og svalir. The property is very spacious and equipped with everything you need. It was so good that we decided to stay one more night.

Very nice house: it has been remodeled, but keeping a vintage touch. The host was super friendly and accommodating. Nice, warm house due to A/C in bedrooms and living room, very clean, comfortable beds. We would like to return in the summer to enjoy the terrace, swimming pool and BBQ facilities. We didn't have the chance to use the jacuzzi this time.
