The facilities are new, clean, and comfortable. The decks facing the river are amazing, and the view of the Danube was very enjoyable. We loved sitting out relaxing, and watching sunset and sunrise. The lady who checked us in was nice, and the common area was also very good and clean. Thank you!

Our stay at Lavanda was the best stay in Serbia. The hosts are amazing, welcoming, amusing people who are sharing their own little paradise that they build for themselves with the guests. However we didn't feel like guests, but rather as new friends who can't wait to come back to spend more time with Slavko and Danijela. The apartment is equipped beyond the standard stuff. The hosts have really taken the time and thought to make the stay of their guest a memorable experience. We enjoyed the sauna every day of our stay (linen, bathrobes and etheric oils included). You will find all the kitchen appliances and utensils you will need. We were here in winter time. The apartment is warm and well furnished. The whole property is huge and has a garden, a gym, a barbecue station, a ping pong table. In the summer you can enjoy relaxing in a pool. The area around the place is great for strolling, hiking, cycling. Near by there is a restaurant with local specialties at very reasonable prices (discounted for Lavanda guests), and you can order the food for delivery to the apartment. And then there are the little things that make all the difference. You will have a stock of coffee, tea, snacks, water, sodas, etc. Enough linen, blankets, towels, shampoo and everything you need for this sort of daily routine. Even if something is missing, you are invited by the hosts to ping them at any time and they will go out of their way to provide you with what you need. This is not a recommendation - this is an invitation for travellers looking for a cosy and homey experience in a natural environment with some of the best air quality in the world. We know we are coming back, without a doubt.

Pensiunea Berzasca í Berzasca er 4 stjörnu gististaður með bar. Meðal aðstöðu á gististaðnum er veitingastaður, herbergisþjónusta og sólarhringsmóttaka, auk ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. It was a shame we only stayed one night, but I will make sure to come back in the future. This is a really nice place in a great location allowing for really nice views over the Danube and the hills. Very clean, everything is well built, and thought through. The host is friendly and welcoming, the food was good, so all in all, highly recommended!

Donaris er með gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði og er í innan við 25 km fjarlægð frá Iron Gate I og 10 km frá Rock Sculpture of Decebalus. Gististaðurinn er með fjalla- og stöðuvatnsútsýni. We only stayed here for one night, but we were made to feel very welcome. The owners couldn’t do enough for us. It was very relaxing and we were allowed to stay a few more hours at the swimming pool after check out.

Definitely a lucky chance brought my family to this charming place. Amazing nature, pure air, incredible view at the river - everything you need to have a rest from big city life is at your disposal. The host Goran was very welcoming and helpful, he is also a boat-tour guide so he helped to organise a very nice journey on water for my family. Highest recommendation, definitely will come back.
