We had a lovely stay with my family. The winter scenery was stunning with sunset on the frozen river. Location is great, very close to Umeå, yet already quite wild with immediate access to the river and the forest with several Nordic ski trails. The house is tiny but comfy with all you need for a short stay. The landlord lives in the house next to it, very friendly.

Clean, quiet, easy to check in and out of, with a large comfortable bed. I arrived quit late, but the instructions on how to get in were all automated and easy to check myself in. Good communication with the host as well!

The owners were genuinely warm and welcoming. The simple room was clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed eating at the hotel restaurant in the evenings. Everything was home made and delicious.

Situated next to the E4 highway in Skellefteå, Aurum Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and tastefully decorated rooms with flat-screen satellite TVs. Skellefteå city centre is 1.5 km away. It’s so clean and in quiet area ,also public transport is close and available
