We wanted a private pool and that is what we got. The pool is nice and spacious with a waterfall feature. The room is clean and there's a living room with Netflix. Perfect for watching a movie. We celebrated my birthday here so it was nice that the staff bought us cake. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is modern, spacious and clean. The location is next to a road but far enough from it to not notice it. It's quiet and convenient to continue our road trip.

Kung Nok Tha Resort Nakhon Si Thammarat offers a hot tub and an open-air bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The Kung Nok Tha Resort - a TOP address I highly recommend the resort!! We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled: The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling. The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine. Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle. The food, cooked by Wirot's wife, was very tasty and authentic - real original Thai cuisine. If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there. We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.
