I loved how close the property was to the lake and that it felt very original. It is still operated by a family and if you wanna feel true Austrian spirit, this is the place to go. If you are going hiking, this is a perfect place to start out From because you have many hikes starting directly from the property.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We also really enjoyed having access to the included swimming pools, which were a great addition to our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would happily come back. The staff was very friendly and kind. The restaurant was very good, both the breakfast and the dinner were delicious. Beds were comfortable and the location was very calm and quiet. We had a great time there.

Room with Balcony - well worth the amazing views of the town

First of all The location on The gps did seem a little sketchy but once we arrived it was a nice place surrounded by woods. Breakfast consist of cold and warm buffet. Overall it was nice stay

Everything. The location was ideal for the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg where we went for the MotoGP weekend.

This is a very nice accommodation for me, I like this type. Shared kitchen, private kitchenette, communal rooms, games. Now I got a quiet room with a nicer view, so I could sleep perfectly. I just checked out the small gym and sauna, but they're also a valuable extra that you don't find anywhere else. I rented an apartment nearby, I will live there, and if I lived even closer, I would be happy to work here as a kitchen assistant on a side job, since I started working in cold kitchens and breakfast services more than two years ago.

The rooms are very nicely prepared - we had a two-story room with a spacious bathroom incl whirlpool. Eating at the Roanwirt is also really nice (typical Austrian cuisine). The sauna area is not the biggest, but it was never crowded. The staff are tremendously forthcoming and friendly. In the area, you can hike up to Pogusch and have amazing views of the mountains.

For the price excellent. Old, but comfy rooms, very nice staff, rich breakfast with freshly made egg meals on request, good restaurant for the evening.
