I loved this hotel. I was looking for one of those old-school communist-era type of hotels as I always do when travelling in Eastern Europe, and this place did not disappoint. It was still clean and modern though. The room was spacious and warm, with a great view over the Avaz Twist Tower. The location was convenient to the tram stop, for central Sarajevo as well as the airport, and also the bus and train stations. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful, particularly one of the evening waiters whose name I forget, and the breakfast and dinner were both great! Although the place regularly receives coach loads of groups, it does things really well to make you think they're not there and keep the room and hotel quiet and comfortable.

The room is decorated with a modern design. It is very nice, clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience.

Our stay at Hotel Aziza in Sarajevo was truly memorable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and at home, and they were always ready to assist with directions, transport advice, or any requests we had. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Housekeeping standards were clearly high, and returning to a spotless room after a day of exploring the city was always a pleasure. The bed was comfortable, the room temperature was just right, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The selection was impressive, with a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. What we particularly appreciated was that the menu changed daily, so breakfast never felt repetitive. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start each day before heading out to explore Sarajevo. Parking was also convenient, with spaces available right in front of the hotel. While the number of parking spots is limited, we found it manageable and appreciated the ease of access, especially for those traveling by car. The hotel’s location is another major advantage. It is within walking distance to Baščaršija, Sarajevo’s charming old town, making it easy to explore historic sites, shops, and restaurants on foot. However, it’s worth noting that the walk back to the hotel is entirely uphill, which may not be easy for everyone. That said, taxis are plentiful and affordable, and bus options are also readily available, so getting back to the hotel is never a problem. A particularly special aspect of our stay was the hotel’s proximity to a nearby mosque.

Excellent location in the downtown. Style of the old times. Spacious room. Excellenet lights (in many hotels the rooms' illumination is too dark for me, here NOT!) Fine breakfast, famous Becka kafana is part of the hotel. Polite staff. Parking is solved in the garage in the cellar.

Really friendlyandhelpful staff and excellent location

One of the best experience I have ever had in a hotel. Huge room and bed, great bathroom, welcome chocolate, super clean, and in a great location in Sarajevo. Only about 10 minutes walk to the older downtown. Breakfast was amazing, with local goods. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located, awesome staff, whether at night or during the day

I absolutely loved the unique antique style of the Royal Gold Hotel. The elegant vintage decor throughout the property gave it a charming, timeless atmosphere that made my stay feel special. The room was not only beautifully furnished but also incredibly comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning, with a variety of fresh options that were a great way to start the day. The friendly and attentive staff really enhanced the experience, making it a memorable stay.

My stay at this hotel in Sarajevo was truly a great experience. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Everything worked perfectly – the heating was excellent, and all the other facilities in the room functioned as they should. You can see that they pay attention to details and the comfort of their guests. All compliments and sincere recommendations from me. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Sarajevo.

The room was nice they gave me a double room and it was so cute, location is perfect right in the town area so everything is walking distance !! The receptionist i didnt get her name but she was very sweet so accomodating and so so helpful!! Her customer service was AMAZING, always smiling and just so nice
