Super-friendly staff, a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room overlooking the water canal. Excellent location in the city center on a quiet street. Highly recommended. A great choice for a female solo traveler. On the second night I stayed in the budget room, overlooking the hotel courtyard. Both nights were a great experience. There is a bus stop at the end of the road that will take you to Sint Pieters station if you are traveling to Bruges or Brussels. It's a good 20 minutes by bus.

We had a wonderful stay at Ganda Rooms and Suites and really enjoyed the city of Ghent. We used it as a home base to visit Ypres and Bruges, both of which we'd highly recommend, but Ghent was our favorite city in Belgium. Annik & Kristof are wonderful hosts, and their home is beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast with fresh baked bread, meats, muesli, fruit, and eggs made to order. We would highly recommend a stay here
