Very happy with our stay here. The city center is a 25-minute walk away, but it was a pleasant walk. We had connecting rooms as a family of 4 and everything was perfect. Comfy beds and very clean. Our children had a great time playing table tennis at the hotel! It was also one of the most budget friendly hotels we found, considering Belgium prices. Overall, very pleased!

The staff were so nice. Especially Lou! Friendly, helpful and kind. The location was ideal. Right in the middle of the old town. And the view from the hotel was fairy-tale worthy. Would deffo come back. They were very accommodating around a late check out too!

Nice breakfast, close to train station, very clean

Breakfast out of our budget at €25 each and we only have small cereal in England. So I cannot comment how good the breakfast was, as I did not see what was prepared for the clients.

Rooms very comfortable. Bests extremely comfortable. Lovely and quiet hotel. Huge plus for me widows open fully.

Everything was very basic but worked perfectly. Good bang for the buck if you just need a cheap place to sleep in that area. Would come again.

The room was literally on the water. You opened the window and you could feel the water! Quiet, warm, while the hotel was next to the center.

I appreciated everything about my two-night stay at Edgar Guesthouse, and will most certainly return when I am in Gent again. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The refined and minimalist style, beautiful wooden furniture, and natural-toned textiles (and fine quality bedsheets, etc) give one a feeling of mental calm (and of being on holiday). Their restaurant around the corner, Edgar kaasbar, has a lovely selection of food and drinks. And I would recommend the Edgar’s breakfast basket. Also, the location is perfect! Very near to the Gent-Dampoort station and you can walk to everything from the guesthouse. Tip-top!

Every single thing was 10/10. Amenities, location, shower, bed, balcony, interior design, and price. If I return to Gent, Kaffee Changé is the only place I would stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Extremely quiet room 2min away from the city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. New facilities in old buildings, very nicely renovated.

The hotel is in an old but authentic Belgian building, the room was big, clean, confortable bed, good internet. Breakfest was good, fresh made, served in a nice room with view to the garden. The hotel have privat parking, at extra cost. The Old Town and all atractions are near, few minutes by walk. The host was friendly and bery nice person. Thank you. Recomend.

Great location and friendly staff

My husband and I had the largest suite at Ganda. By the time we arrived there we had been traveling for a while. We had no idea how much we needed to just land and ground, but when we entered the room our bodies and minds immediately exhaled and settled in. Super cozy space, so conducive to simply relaxing and catching up on life and some work. There was always coffee, tea and biscuits readily available in the parlour, as well as an honesty fridge if you wanted a glass of wine or a beer. There was backgammon to be played and books to read in front of the fireplace/mantle. There were several outdoor spaces and a lovely dining room for breakfast. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. So well done. The owners did an amazing job of curating a beautiful and artistic environment.
