Great location, in the city centre, in the historic old town. Close to everything. Vintage furniture is a nice touch.

Gracious charm, beautifully decorated. Historic but modern. Perfect location. Excellent helpful staff.

Good location, good food and cool to meet Mates in my former hometown

The rooms were very clean and equipped with kitchen appliances. It seems that they hotel has recently renovated, and all its furniture, appliances, and washroom is in very clean and best condition. I would recommend staying at this hotel and the hotel also provided free parking.

Very central, but fairly quiet. Nice Mexican restaurant.

Very adequate breakfast in pleasant breakfast room.

The best host and staff I have experienced on my travels. The host even returned my money because I had to leave a day early, although he didn't have to, but the man is truly honest and very good. Everything was nice, tidy, and clean. The property, staff, and host are a perfect 10+++

Lovely accommodation, modern with traditional design, self check in fast and easy, quiet place, ideal for a one night stop! Owner was friendly, allowed us to store our groceries in the breakfast fridge (restaurant was closed, check bellow for details).

The owners are the best imaginable hosts you could wish for. Genuinely heartwarming and caring. We had a very good stay.

Top breakfast, cosy room, position right in the center of the small town

Nice town friendly staff, allowed me to park the motorbike in the corner of the restaurant outside. Nice food nice people.

A gem!!! Fantastic Hotel with amazing views. Excellent staff - reception and restaurant!

Relaxing place to spend some time in. We loved the garden and the living area with teas and coffee. Lovely room and bathroom. We'll definitely be back some day. Breakfast at the hotel Baseltor, at an extra cost, was delicious, plentiful, and most welcome. We appreciated the free parking space by the Klosterherberge.

I stayed at the Gasthof Kreuz while cycling the Gavel Trans Jura. Now imagine one sedond: I arrived after cycling 9 hours under pouring rain covered in mud like Peppa Pig at end of an episode. I did have the time to apologize because I was offered bike wash and the manager was super cool and understanding when I left some mud in the hallway. It’s a family business and the whole family was incredibly warm and hospitable. We also stayed for dinner and the salad dressing was a masterpiece. Big thank you for this enjoyable stay!

The breakfast was very good. The location was excellent for my needs.

The room was very clean, spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. Completely new renovation in very old building. Quiet at night and no church bells ringing every hour. Never heard a churchbell even thought it is next to the old church. Bathroom was also very clean with L'Occitaine body wash and shampoo - a nice luxurious touch! The breakfast was very good, plentiful with lots of choices. The dinner also excellent with high-quality ingredients. Would definately stay here again. Hotel and restaurant staff very polite and accommodating to our needs in the rooms and the restaurant. I can highly recommended this hotel.

People are so nice. I came in late and a staff member was still waiting for me. She showed me my room and the details of the hotel. Very nice experience that you don't have in big international hotels. I will be back. Joris
