Hotels near German Mining Museum Bochum, Bochum

It was very close to the center of Bochum

Modern design, spacious rooms, comfy bed, great location next to Starlight Express theatre. We enjoyed our stay.

Big praise for the staff at breakfast for working so hard…

Rooms are clean, with a beautiful wooden floor. It is one of the few hotels in Bochum with rooms with a wooden floor instead of a carpet. There was a misunderstanding when I checked in, but it was fixed the next day. The room was beautiful, and decorated with good taste. Bathroom is very modern. The hotel is ideally located, in the center, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and within a 10 min walking distance from the railway station. Breakfast is "à la carte", and is good. I appreciated the staff and the waitress who served me at breakfast.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The hotel offers not only great comfort but also a truly welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home immediately. A huge thank you to the incredible reception team—Viktorya, Marichka, and Azad—who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine smiles made all the difference. The cleanliness of the entire property was exceptional; everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel truly relaxed and cared for. The location is both safe and ideal—surrounded by beautiful nature that adds a peaceful charm to the experience, yet also just a short walk away from a 24/7 open market and other local amenities. Whether you’re visiting for a short stay or a longer holiday, this place offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. Ps: They allowed us to use their kitchen so that we could have a feast with our friends! They have a huge meeting room that will allow you to have group meetings, with fast internet connection and a TV that you can use as a projector. We genuinely didn’t want to leave—already looking forward to coming back!

Perfekt size of rooms and good quality hotel

Small, privately owned hotel where you can tell you’re welcomed. Place goes back to Bochum’s heydays, but is freshly renovated, with lots of care. Close to downtown and 5 min from the city’s no 1 attraction, the Bergbaumuseum. Subway is also around the corner for further adventures.

Everything was good, staff very nice, breakfast good

The room was very clean. It was small (I stayed in a single room), but very functionally arranged. I loved the breakfast, and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the city center.

Great host, very welcoming and responsive, the place looks just like the photos and I liked everything about it! Will definitely come again!
