Brilliant service and location with lake view was great

stayed at the hotel from June 21 to 22, 2025, and I really enjoyed everything. The room was very clean and bright. The bedding was fresh and comfortable. The toilet and shower were spotless. Tea, coffee, and the little marzipan heart-shaped candies were such a lovely touch. The room was well organized — everything was easy to find and well thought out. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dinner at the restaurant with a beautiful view was also wonderful. I ordered a burger and was very pleased with the quality of the ingredients and the way it was prepared. Afterwards, we spent a lovely evening on the terrace with cocktails, overlooking the old town. The continental breakfast was luxurious and delicious — everyone can find exactly what they need. I would especially like to highlight the work of the staff. Everything was pleasant, polite, and kind. It was a real pleasure to spend time at your hotel. Thank you very much!

Comfortable, spacious and a surpris: a long, comfortable tub. The front desk dining suggestions were wonderful.

Nice and clean and good location

When we arrived, we realised our rooms were very cold and the heating was not working. We talked about this with the reception staff, and they helped us solve the problem very quickly. They fixed the heating, however, since rooms would need some time to warm up, they relocated us to the main hotel and gave us new rooms, which was very kind an professional. <3 So we ended up staying in the Hotel Kaiserhof instead of the Gästehaus - both were very nicely equiped, very big and comfortable rooms. Gästhaus is located in a smaller street, so there is no noise from the outside, there are only 7 or 8 rooms in the house, so it's very private with no staff on site. Hotel is located in the main street just around the corner, but there was still very little noise from the street during the night - we didn't find it disturbing. Staff was, as mentioned, very friendly and helpful. Both locations are also just a short walk from the city center, and there is free parking in front of both buildings.

The room was large and comfy; breakfast was incredible and diverse, the bathroom was perfectly fine too. Nice location, green area, beautiful all around.

Ver warm room right in the historical center of Lubeck. Really comfortable place to come from the main railway station.

My single room at the hotel was perfect for my one-night stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I drove there, and luckily, there was parking available on the same street, which made things really convenient. The location was great - everything I wanted to explore in the city was within walking distance. I had breakfast at the hotel and was really happy with the selection. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even helping me out with hot water for my thermos. Overall, a great stay!

Very cozy rooms and hotel atmosphere. On the way you can see the owner's hand, who makes decorations, appropriate to the season. This is an individual place, it is not a chain hotel, each one is the same, there are fewer and fewer such places

A true gem on the "Altstadtinsel" of Lübeck. One of the oldest buildings in Lübeck and renovated with a lot of taste to a very high standard. The room was of a decent size, the bed was very cozy, the breakfast was not a buffet, but was brought to your table. Everything was of a very high quality and very tasty.

Honestly this hotel deserves every star rating they have! What a wonderful hotel - from the staff, to the fantastic breakfast this hotel really is amazing. The hotel is in the perfect location, close to the old town, museum quarter and surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Despite the great location, the rooms and hotel were quiet which was perfect for a good night sleep after exploring Lübeck. The service at breakfast was wonderful, coffee was prepared as well as eggs with an enormous breakfast spread to suit everyone's tastebuds. Not only that - the hotel has a strong stance on human rights and ethical practices which is so amazing to see. I can honestly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Lübeck and if I am to return I will be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
