This hotel is absolutely amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone! We stayed here on August 22nd, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its perfect location, which makes it effortless to explore the surrounding area and enjoy everything the city has to offer. The front desk team truly stood out。They were exceptionally patient, genuinely friendly, and impressively professional. Every interaction felt warm and sincere, and they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of. On our first day, after taking a shower, we noticed a small water leak coming from the bathroom door. One of the ladies at the front desk was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting us with this issue. She handled everything quickly and with great care, and I really appreciated her positive attitude. I don’t know her name, but I truly liked her and would highly recommend her. The restaurant staff were equally wonderful. Their warm smiles and thoughtful service created a delightful atmosphere that made breakfast an absolute pleasure. It was the perfect way to start our day on a positive note. Not only that, but the hotel room was spotlessly clean, wonderfully quiet , and the housekeeping staff worked efficiently and with great attention to detail. When we needed assistance, she responded with such enthusiasm and professionalism that we truly appreciated her help. I stayed on the second floor, and although I don’t know her name, I genuinely liked her and was impressed by her dedication. Everything, from check-in to dining, felt seamless, relaxing, and enjoyable. This stay left us with such a wonderful impression, and we would absolutely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

The hotel was perfect in every way. It was clean & bright & very close to the main square & train station.The artwork was amazing. The staff Alex, Reza & Gabi were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of how to get around this lovely city. Highly recommend Design- und Kunsthotel for your Munich stay.

The staff were amazing!! We travelled with two babies and they gave us two joint rooms. The receptionist and the lady in the dining room were particularly nice, although everyone was very friendly and kind. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

Quiet, clean and comfortable room, close to the central station. We slept with open window (towards the yard) but no disturbing noise. Great breakfast. New bathroom. Refrigerator and coffee/tea in the room. Lots of cheap restaurants in the street.

Beautiful hotel - historical vibe without compromise.

Clean, close to main station, many restaurants around and yet doesn’t have “Central Station” vibe, it’s in a quite a nice neighbourhood.

+ price not too bad + location + hospitality + changed my towels and bed sheets on the second day I didn’t experience all the negative reviews that I’ve read on here but it’s just my personal experience I’m speaking about.

It was great that I could check in a couple of hours earlier than appointed. I am very grateful for that. The locations is great, since the hotel is near the main train station and near the city center.

Small but very comfortable hotel room - perfect mattress, perfect pillows and quality soft cotton bedding - which led to a great nights sleep. The room and private bathroom were spotlessly clean. The room (and hotel) were very quiet, even calm and peaceful. I didn't see many staff around but the communication via messages and paper notices was very efficient so it didn't impact our stay. Bicycle parking was very convenient too. We slept a little late so skipped the included breakfast but the dining area looked charming. The hotel may be fairly simple but for someone who values comfort, quiet, cleanliness and clear communication, they got everything right. Thank you.
