Gorgeous suite directly overlooking Marienplatz and in front of the clock and large Christmas tree. This hotel is small, boutique and very well thought out proving you don’t need to be a huge complex to be as good as large 5 star chains. Our room is huge containing a full wall of glass windows, large king size bed, separate doonas (which for me has been an absolute revelation this trip!). A large casual seating area completed the room, with full desk for those who need to do some work splitting the room nicely, and finally one of the largest, most attractive bathrooms we’ve encountered on this trip. The room is quiet and did I meantime, directly over the Christmas markets? Of course I did! This is the last night of our 3 1/2 week Christmas trip, coming all the way from Melbourne Australia and yes it’s more than we would ordinarily pay (on conversion) but we are very happy with this property. Location to Old Town Munich is obviously perfect. There are subway entrances all around, but Munich is easy to walk. It was a little tricky to find the entrance as the hotel is part of what appears an ordinary building. The access door is a very unassuming glass door but once you are inside the elevator and reach level 5, an automatic glass door swings open to invite you into a beautifully presented property. There is a bar, free goodies placed out for guests, a welcome drink, complimentary mini bar and snacks in the room. Being Christmas, we also received a lovely little box of 4 x shortbreads which were devoured. A large library / seating area as well as a couple more intimate seating areas. Wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the property, and that we had another day or two. Will definitely come back to Beyond the next time we are in Munich.

I chose this accommodation near the Englischer Garten because I was traveling with my dog. I stayed in a standalone unit on the third floor. The place had a hallway door, was very spacious, and the street was incredibly quiet. It was in a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the Englischer Garten, which allowed my dog and me to have a wonderful time. It’s also close to the Alte Pinakothek!

If you are looking to stay for few nights in Munchen, this is your hotel. Absolutely value for money. Location of the hotel is amazing, Room is clean, great AC, bed was very, very comfortable. Staff is polite and will try to help you (we asked for more pillows ...). Please dont expect typical hotel and then rate them.poorely because the room is small or something. It is a very affordable accomodation in the center that provides all you need if you dont plan to spend a lot of time in the room. Great stay!

Excellent location for proximity to Marienplatz, Hofbrauhaus and many amazing restaurants. Pussers New York Cocktail bar across the street is amazing.

The list would be too long - so I have to say everything! Wonderful location, only 120m to Lehel U-station (you can reach the city centre and English garden in 5 minutes). Lovely old-town look, nice and quiet neighbourhood with shops and great restaurants nearby. Hotel stuff was most amazing! Everything was super comfy and clean. Please, do not skip breakfast - this was the biggest surprise how good the breakfast actually was!

Very nice small scale hotel. Clean and spacious room, very firendly and helpful staff. Breakfast tasty and good qualilty of food. Location si faculous. Old town and very close to public transport. We will def opt for this hotel again if visiting Munich

You get space, comfort and a location that works. The apartment was spotless on arrival. Clean to hotel standard. Plenty of room to unpack and relax. The bed was comfortable and quiet at night. Heating worked well which matters in Munich winter. Location is a real strength. You are a short walk from public transport. Trams and U-Bahn get you anywhere fast. We reached Marienplatz in around 5 minutes. Supermarkets, bakeries and cafés are close. Check-in was simple and clear. Instructions were accurate. No delays. Communication was fast and helpful when we had a question. The kitchen is well equipped. Enough utensils to cook proper meals. Good coffee setup which matters in the morning. Wi-Fi was strong and stable. Worked fine for video calls and streaming. This is a great choice if you want hotel cleanliness with apartment space. We would book again without hesitation.
