Breakfast is good,considering the hotel status and I was very happy with that. Of course it was not like a 5 start hotel but better than my expectation. The bed was also very comfort and room very cozy with good view.

The George is my favourite place to stay in Hamburg. I love the general design, the rooms are spacious, very comfortable and offer all that you need. The restaurant, Da Caio, serves great Italian food. The location is great and the Lange Reihe has many good restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Cheap, clean, comfy, good location, nice staff, big bathroom, big bed

The room was spacious, the bathroom was very small, but very well designed, with particularly good lighting compared to the vast majority of hotel bathrooms; there must have been a ventilation in there (as steam and odours never lingered), but so silent we didn't take notice. Very important for us: the heating was perfect, as there were large radiators and we could adjust them to our need. The windows were quite large (if one goes there for work, I think this is very important), but the curtains did their job well in the morning. The reception staff are nice ald helpful.

The hotel is brand new and everything felt freshly opened. Despite an intense heatwave with temperatures reaching 36–37°C, the room's cooling system worked well and was very much appreciated. The bathroom was comfortable with decent shower pressure and excellent ginger/lemon soap and shampoo. Breakfast offered a good selection of cold cuts, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, and bread. While there were engineering works on the U3 line at Hamburger Straße, the replacement buses were frequent, reliable, and made getting to the city centre quite manageable.

Perfect use of space and sustainable approach to living.

Very cozy small hotel with nice balcony and the view from the rooms. I’d visit again this hotel since felt so nice. There is a parking in front of the hotel, more like street parking, the area was like small district with cute houses.

Nice historical hotel. Never saw such luxury antique furniture. The lady who’s run the place is very kind and in the morning you will appreciate the beautiful private garden behind the hotel.

Great location opposite the Underground, only 2 stops to the city and the Binnen Alster. Or you could walk to the beautiful Außen-Alster. Many restaurants in walking distance.
