This was a lovely property with comfortable clean rooms . Lovely grounds and gardens. We opted for a room with private patio and it was lovely, spacious, spotless. Friendly hosts, bikes available, great bike trails and .9 miles to Winterswijk center. Great selection of beer in bar, as well as wine and spirits. Beautifully decorated with artwork, wood floors and furniture, attention to details such as outlets easily accessible by bedside, at waist height (vs having to crawl in knees to find). Would come back!

The breakfast was worth waking up for! The breads were amazing and there was a great selection of all breakfast foods. I enjoyed it.

Very clean room, very friendly team, very good italian food in the very good restaurant! Ambiance, fireplace in the restaurant, yummy food, cosy affordable room. Nice place!

I love the style of this Hotel . Location is great and the rooms are awesome. It is my first choice in Winterswijk .

The staff was very kind and very professional! The hotel was very classy and looked absolutely amazing as if you were in a great manor house of the past.

The room was ok but lacking minbar. The breakfast was very good but there was only 1 person around in the restaurant and so this person was very occupied and did not always notice when there was a problem at the buffet (something missing or a coffee machine not working etc)

Food was exceptional. The breakfast divine. Five or six different types of homemade bread! You don’t find that in 5star hotels!! And the staff was so friendly and helpful. They made it seem a labor of love.

The room and bathroom were wonderfully spacious. The breakfast was well organised

We had such a good welcome, the breakfast was amazing, I slept so well, location-wise we had a car so we had no issue, plus it is one of those towns where things are not ghat far off, parking was invluded and they had a good system for it, just make sure you get there on time because there is limited space.
