Fairmont Nile City exceeded what I have expected. The staff, every one of them, made our three-nights stay so comfortable and memorable. The Dine-in service was fast, food was delicious, the Sky Pool was warm and cosy, room was up to date and super clean. A special shout out to reception staff Michael, he went beyond to help us out with a bigger and quieter room and even overworked one night to make sure we are happy with everything. Fairmont, you should be proud that you have such a considerate and efficient employee. Moustafa from Dine-in service was very helpful too. We will definitely come back!

The property is a hidden gem in Cairo offering world class rooms in the heart of Zamalek. The staff are very kind. Breakfast was awesome and the attendant at breakfast was a very sweet man.

H Suites Zamalek is a luxury villa-style hotel that perfectly combines modern comfort with the vintage charm of old Cairo. The villa itself once belonged to Mohamed Abdelwahab (موسيقار الأجيال) — the legendary Egyptian composer — and I was lucky enough to stay in the Abdelwahab Suite, the very room where he once lived. It’s hard to describe the feeling of being in such a historic space, surrounded by that artistic legacy, yet enjoying all the comfort of a modern, well-maintained property. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless. The staff welcomed me like family — not guests — and Hager in particular was beyond exceptional. She personally upgraded me to a beautiful Nile-view suite, immaculately clean and full of character. Every detail around the villa feels warm and personal: the polished vintage décor, the quiet ambiance, and the genuine hospitality that makes you feel like you belong there, not like a stranger in a hotel. Hager deserves a special mention for her dedication. Every question or request I had, she handled with genuine care and deep attention — from finding a nearby gym to arranging laundry, calling restaurants for reservations, and even discussing my experiences in Cairo’s attractions. She listened, followed up, and always made sure I was getting the best experience possible. Would I stay again? Absolutely — this place truly feels like home.

Egypt is the third world. By that measure, this hotel is very good to excellent. Straight out the door, about 100 meters is an excellent sandwich, omelet shop.

I stayed for one night and absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt warm and relaxing. Perfect location for exploring Cairo, and great value for a short stay. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the kind team I found in the hotel. Excellent quality for a reasonable price. This is a rare place to find in Cairo, a nice comfortable boutique hotel with large tidy rooms with a small balcony. Zamalek is a convenient safe place to stay for riding around easily with uber / taxis or having a walk.
