Cala Major beach is one of the prettiest if not prettiest...
Cala Major beach is one of the prettiest if not prettiest beaches in Mallorca. It gets very crowded, especially during the tourist season, which is from Easter til the end of October. Best avoided altogether in July and August. There are a couple of overpriced and very touristy cafes and shops, but I would recommend to simply bring a drink and snack and avoid those entirely. Amazing sunset views, so try to be there in the evening when there are also less people sunbathing. Unfortunately, the way some people behave at the beaches is pretty unpleasant. People are generally not in the nude at this beach, but can be nearly nude and displaying themselves in a way that can be considered to be quite vulgar, so just be aware of that, especially if bringing children or older people with you.SharmilaUnited Kingdom

Location is about 15min by bus(No.4) to Palma Old town. Bus stop was close by, about 2min walk. Cala Major beach was about 5min walk, with a lovely vegan restaurant Avacado close by.
