Location is excellent. We could walk to the shops, Nice-Ville train station and the promenade from the hotel. We even walked up Castle hill and to the old town. Our room was a king suite and we had 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. It was room 419 and it was very clean, modern and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is okay. I think that’s the only thing they could improve on. (Nicer sausages and offer bacon too, everyday, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms). Upgrade of the breakfast would be the icing on the cake.

The room is chic and relatively spacious. The bathroom is particularly nice and clean. Sufficient sunlight from outside. Just a few minutes walk from the nearest tram or train station. It is important to stress that Anthony was extremely helpful and nice in every single possible way. Had some really enjoyable conversations. Incredibly knowledgeable about the tourist spots, restaurants and most importantly transportation of various cities surrounding Nice. The restaurant recommended in Saint Paul de Vence was possibly the best of my entire trip!

there is great art , museums and architecture , fantastically atmospheric old town and market , it's a proper working town as well as a very pretty one . If you want to pose on the beach go to Cannes -if you want a more real experience Nice is much better. also great transport links via the new tram within the town and beyond via the railway to Italy of further along the Riviera coast . No shortage of good places to eat too.

We used local supermarkets, markets, fruit shops and patisserie s to but lovely fresh food as we were self catering. We bought a great lunch deal from one of the many little sandwich shops located on the Gambetta Boulevard. The market in the old town has a wonderful array of fresh food inc; olives, cheese, meats, breads. Ideal for making up a picnic for the beach.
