Comfy and quiet and perfect proximity to motorway travelling from UK to Italy.

Food was excellent, barman had some awesome homemade drink in a jar 👍

It’s a beautiful place. When you wake up you have the lake in front of you. When you love swimming an early morning swim makes you happy for the rest of the day.

Very friendly host and hostess! Room basic, but very clean. Small bathroom, but worked for us. Matrass was comfortable - slept well. Dinner was delicious with fresh ingredients.

This hotel is right next to the via Francigena, and just a couple blocks from the bus stop. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean. It was good value.

Rooms were beautifully updated. Online check-in was straight forward. Messaging with offsite staff was easy and helpful. Pet friendly.

The breakfast was to the standard of a normal small Swiss hotel. Lacking in the choice of a larger hotel. No complaints.

Very friendly staff, location over looks a lake and has a nice bar/restaurant below it. This was a spontaneous booking while on route back home to the UK, and boy am I glad we chose this little gem. The Room had so much natural light and was over looking the lake, nice touch to electrical controlled black out blinds which was great for the much needed rest. Waiter at the bar helped us choose local wine and had great knowledge in helping us choose. All round great experience.

An exceptional hotel with grand, old-world charm, extensive facilities and unbelievable views across the valley to the Alps. Breakfast was superb and dinner in the stunning, Belle Epoque restaurant was a memorable occasion. A special thanks to our waiter who managed to maintain absolute professional decorum whilst subtly joining in the spirit of our jovial banter over dinner.
