An amazing hotel isolated from civilization in the endless silence of the heart of the Pyrenees National Park on the French side, from which all rooms overlook the mighty cliffs of the Pyrenees Mountains and the amazing waterfalls. The hotel is a nature reserve in itself of stylish beauty, every detail of every picture was designed and adapted to receive a unique and luxurious look, the hotel was founded in 1845 and has been passed down for 7 generations among the family members and is praised with each generation. We were privileged to be the guests of one of the eight wonderful rooms in the hotel. Arriving at the hotel from the village of Gavarnie-Gèdre tells the whole story of how wonderful the hotel and its staff are. Over everything, as in a harmonious concert, triumphs a wonderful, kind, funny and special woman named Carolyn who gives the hotel its warm and special atmosphere and pays attention to every detail with a constant smile and kind eyes, a woman of many actions who turns out to be a skilled off-road driver and a wonderful bartender and especially a kind conversationalist. The dinner at the hotel is as perfect as the hotel. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared with delicacy and beauty that do not hint at the explosion of flavors that came later, a masterpiece and served to the table by Eric, a warm, funny and special man. The world must have been divided between those who were in this magical hotel and do not forget it and those who will come to it. Thank you for the wonderful fairy-tale hospitality and personal attention.

Wonderful location within national park high in the Pyrennees. Very quiet rooms with mountain and river views. Useful restaurant serving typical paradore meals.

Staff were friendly and helpful, good location, not expensive. Would stay there again.

This was the best hotel we have stayed in on our travels so far. The room was clean, spacious and with a very comfy mattress. I want to mention in particular, the warm and friendly welcome we received from Giuseppe, it was nice to be greeted by someone so helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

We had booked a room for one night but in the morning decided to stay another night which, fortunately, was available. This was an excellent base to hike and explore the cirques and the perfect place for us to spend our last two nights of a three week visit to France before flying home to the US. The hotel is very comfortable, the owners and staff are welcoming and helpful and the countryside spectacular.

The location with a beautiful view of the mountains and a short walk distance from the village. Strategical location for day hikes in the area. Clean and spacious room, very comfortable for 2 people with a lot of luggages. Kind and helpful staff. Home atmosphere.

Hotel Bujaruelo is just right. Though the rooms look like regular rooms, they really invested in all of the important things. A comfy bed, a great shower, cleanliness, fun towels and linen and great and attentive service from Manuel. Even the breakfast was just right. Simple but with everything you need and very tasty. We ended up coming back here the night after our hike.

This is a family run hotel under new ownership. I was glad to see that some of the old touches of the previous owners were kept eg the old farm implements and pictures. The owners were very attentive and helpful. We had all we needed including an abundant breakfastand comfortable lounge and common areas. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and the location was stunning.

Everything about this property was excellent. The location is fantastic with a clear view of the waterfall. Lydia is a fabulous host and was always available to help with information about the area of Gavarnie.

Charming little room in a charming building in a charming medieval town. Has a balcony with spectacular view of the mountains. Located in the heart of this hamlet.

Excellent hotel. Good value. Spacious room and bathroom (with a bath). Limited toiletries but all you need. Very impressed and happy to have a fridge in the room too. Would stay again without hesitation.

We got a room with a living room and kitchen. Very clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped and allows us to prepare meals. Very convenient for going to Ordesa national park.

Location and helpful staff. We got free parking for our motorcycles.

Location, location, location! Also huge rooms with comfy beds. Also the staff and their level of organisation. We arrived at 10.30pm and they were there to meet us with a smile. I left an item them & they had it ready for my collection at the reception. Would definitely stay there again and felt the ratings on Booking.com were too low. Great price too.
