We had an overnight holiday in this lovely hotel just outside Clithero. The evening meal was lovely and the full breakfast was an added bonus and the staff were just excellent. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Fabulous two-night stay just before Xmas. Friendly and considerate staff who were really relaxed (in a good way!). The jacuzzi bath after walking up Pendle Hill was just what my body needed. Tasty food and menus for all. Very quiet in the room, with plentiful supplies of tea bags and biscuits. Great walking from the door.

Very clean room, everything worked, except TV didn't like PM, but better reception Morning. Didn't have bedside light, that would have been better.

The Station was great. It was just a “walk away” from everything. Across from the Railway Station and Bus stops. The room was very quaint, very comfortable and very clean. They provided a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a kettle, mugs and a selection of teas, coffee, milk and biscuits. The hosts were very nice, friendly and easy to talk too. We would definitely stay there again.

Steer clear of this property at all costs.

Steer clear of this property at all costs. We arrived to filthy accommodation with rotting skirting boards, worn, dirty carpets, towels all over, products left in the bed which had clearly not been changed. We could not sleep in the bed it was so awful. We checked out the very next morning. I had to buy cleaning products and start cleaning as we had nowhere else to go. Door handles were broken causing a real fire hazard. Skirting boards and corners were filthy. The toilet brush was absolutely disgusting. I have taken 40 photos as I was so shocked that this cottage is even advertised. The owner left us high and dry and refused to take any responsibility. Totally shocked beyond belief. Our week over new year was totally ruined thanks to a greedy unscrupulous landlord.

Splendid cottage. Extremely well appointed. Perfect location for Pendle Hill walks - 5 minutes from cottage and you are on the trail. Quite possible the best holiday property we have ever rented in 30+ years of travelling.

We chose the Pendle Inn for its proximity to Pendle Hill. The individual unit afford an element of privacy not available in an hotel type setting.

Good location on site, elevated position looking over fields and distant views. Cosy and spotlessly clean.Very peaceful and quiet, great for watching the wildlife and star gazing at night. Plenty of board games and dvd if the weather's not good,.Short drive to Pendle Hill, Skipton and the Yorkshire dales. Warm welcome from the owners on arrival.

Location is gorgeous and I didn’t realise how close it was to Pendle Hill, which was a huge bonus! Cottage was amazing and rustic. Danielle went above and beyond to make the stay perfect. Added touches were thoughtful and topped off an already 5 star place! We also loved the little witchy touches throughout!

We loved the location and the fresh clean cosy feel. We always usually find something that’s not been cleaned but this place was immaculate. It was so close to Pendle hill and barley, Also convenient for loads of other things too. Booths is a two minute walk which was so so handy. The lounge Could do with a poof for the couch to pop feet on to make more comfy but that’s just personal preference. Parking was great too.

Lovely cottage, perfect for our stay and not far from our family in Burnley. Nice pub and shops at bottom of road, lovely drives to Pendle Hill and surrounding areas. Fully functional kitchen and very comfortable beds. We would love to stay again when next visiting our family and friends.

The location, the history & folklore of the area, the cosiness, very high standard finish & home from home feeling of the beautiful property. We were so comfortable, happy & content. The log burner is brilliant & adds real charm. All round wonderful stay in a stunning property in a fantastic location. Pendle Hill & the sculpture trail are lovely. Also lots of pretty walks nearby.
