Room was lovely had everything we needed, staff were super nice and the pub is amazing! We had cocktails and a roast dinner which was fab. Such a good location with bus stops right outside and a nice breakfast place across the road. Would recommend and definitely stay again. <33

Very clean room, everything worked, except TV didn't like PM, but better reception Morning. Didn't have bedside light, that would have been better.

Clean, nice, tidy hotel, friendly stuff, excelent breakfast.

Our stay was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and Ed our host was fantastic. Our room, Lover Buck Lodge was fantastic. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower and plenty of clean towels daily. The bed was the low type and very comfortable. There was a room heater, fan, hairdryer, iron and board. The breakfast hamper was full of items and sat on top of a mini fridge containing bottled milk and water. There was also a coffee maker and kettle with plenty of teas, coffees, sugar and biscuits. The wooden flooring added to the room and there was a small built in wardrobe plus a drawer unit. Due to the opening hours, we could only eat at the Lower Buck on one evening of ours 3 night stay. The food was superb from a good menu and the bar was fully stocked with spirits and ales All in all our stay receives 10/10. We shall definitely be back.

Breakfast was extra to the price and was very nice. The whole idea of staying in an Ancient Abbey was not on our radar and so we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. The Abbey was surrounded by ruins which made very interesting and just across the fence was this 48 arch brick viaduct, absolutely awesome. The Whalley village was just down the road.

The high standards that pervades the establishment from the cheery welcome and feeling of personal service, through the decor, the piano in the dining room, to the buffet breakfast before I departed.

The Station was great. It was just a “walk away” from everything. Across from the Railway Station and Bus stops. The room was very quaint, very comfortable and very clean. They provided a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a kettle, mugs and a selection of teas, coffee, milk and biscuits. The hosts were very nice, friendly and easy to talk too. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, superb hotel. Never green before but we were amazed with the old fashioned decor as you enter the hotel. Room was excellent as was dinner. Bar staff very friendly.

One of the coolest and most memorable things about this hotel was the fact that my room had a projector that covered the entire wall right in front of the bed! I’ve honestly never seen anything like that before in a hotel, it felt so unique and gave the room such a fun vibe. Big wow factor! The staff were all super friendly, which made the stay even better. Breakfast was a little different compared to other hotels, as it was in the adjoining food hall that’s also open to the public. Personally, I loved this because it gave the place a lively, social feel, and since the hotel is on the smaller side, it was nice to be around a bit more bustle in the mornings. The portions were big, and the food was absolutely delicious. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. It’s right in the heart of town, so Turf Moor, shops, and restaurants are all just a short walk away. I also really appreciated how safe it felt as there was security in the lobby at night, which gave me extra peace of mind.
